We can always use a morning pick-me-up, and an exciting breakfast menu is one that can help us start our day with our moods up. If the good old-fashioned pancake is enough to give us a morning delight, imagine how a Pokemon or Darth Vader-shaped ones would make us feel. With this new pancake machine by Miguel Valenzuela, we are going to be able to shape our pancake however we desire.
Named PancakeBot, this pancake machine is the world’s first food printer capable of printing pancakes by automatically dispensing batter directly onto a griddle. Pancake designs can be loaded directly onto the PancakeBot via SD card. Users can make their own pancake designs with the included software or browse through their online community—yes, there’s a community for that, because why not?
After the image is loaded, the PancakeBot will scan the design you’ve chosen and the batter on the machine would act as the ink to draw the pancake. The machine will trace the shape on the griddle and the lines of batter that drop first will come out darker. However, the colors are not only limited to the traditional pancake brown. You can make your pancake colorful by adding food dye to the batter. After that, voila! You can enjoy the perfectly shaped pancake that is as delicious as it is aesthetically pleasing.
