Y-3’s FW16 collection, which was debuted back in January has finally been released. To celebrate, the brand has dropped a short campaign film showcasing the collection’s sporty tough and industrial aesthetic. Set inside the dystopian future are two characters sporting activewear essentials in Yohji’s eccentric style such as drapery and loose fitted volume all in black color. With an abandoned underground warehouse established as the backdrop, the clean white walls along with the modest light installations allow the garments in its contrasting black color scheme to speak up and play its starring role. The film aim to portrays a scary conclusion to today’s data and surveillance culture.
