UNIQLO has returned with British-Japanese designer Hana Tajima to deliver its third modest wear collection for Fall/Winter 2016. An exclusive line that blends contemporary design with traditional values and superlative comfort. The collection features new designs that offer versatility imbued with an air of elegance, which pays even more attention to details, cuts and fabrics.
Inspired by her father’s ceramic creations, Hana Tajima created her own prints and designs featuring organic elements. The collection features darker colour shades such as red and brings back favourites like ivory. This season the fabric and cuts are unrestrictive to allow more movement for the wearer. Selected pieces were designed to create a continuous fabric illusion that exudes grace and fluidity. Details such as curves, asymmetrical cuts and tie-backs added in this collection to accentuate the wearer’s silhouette. UNIQLO's high quality winter wear material such as HEATTECH and Fleece used heavily in the collection. Intended to appeal to all women, including those who value modest dressing, the collection is designed based on Uniqlo’s LifeWear concept, which is making fashionable, high quality products for everyone from anywhere to enhance their lifestyles.
The collaboration line has been available in selected markets in SouthEast Asia over the past two seasons. The newest collection marks the line’s expansion to a global scale. Arriving in Fareast Asia and Australia as well as other markets around the world. The UNIQLO x Hana Tajima Fall Winter 2016 Collection will be available in all UNIQLO stores nationwide on 17 June 2016.
