Beyoncé is set to launch a new clothing line – well, that one sentence should be intriguing enough to let our curiosity kicks in. Yes, according to the emerging news, she has partnered with the retail tycoon Sir Philip Green for a collection of athleisure gear that is called the ‘Parkwood Topshop Athletic’. This isn’t much of a collaboration though, as Philip Green has stated that this project is “about building a brand and building a business – a separate, proper business, with separate overheads and a separate office.”
The athleisure category, called so because it combines athletic performance with casual styling, is one that has been growing immensely in today’s fashion, particularly in womenswear. It is also one style that would fit the diva’s personal style – just take a look at her music videos like 7/11, Blow or No Angel.
Due to launch in spring 2016, this exciting range will be sold in 20 countries worldwide. There is no particular information about price range yet, but with Topshop in the mix, the collection seemingly will be pretty affordable. So will this release make us as flawless as Queen B? We should just wait until they come out next year!
