If there’s someone whose street style expertise we should count upon, the person would no doubt be Scott Schumann. As a founder, and photographer behind a street style blog/bible The Sartorialist, Schumann is practically the one who contributes to the raise of street style culture. After more than a decade of contribution in determining street style trends, as of recent, through his collaboration with Sutor Mantellassi, The Sartorialist has deemed that sneakers is still the victor of the street style scene.
About his collaboration with the 1912-founded luxury Italian shoemaker, Schumann revealed to Fashion Beans “I’ve been wearing Sutor Mantellassi shoes for years, so it was a natural collaboration. I love Italy and I love the Italian heritage of the Sutor Mantellassi brand.” Together, the street style expert and luxury shoe brand teamed up to create premium leather sneakers that clearly shows the label’s century’s worth of craftsmanship. “A leather sneaker is great and very versatile, especially as an everyday shoe, as it walks that line between sporty and refined,” said Schumann.
Their latest array of sneakers consists single silhouette and available in 4 different colorways. Featuring premium leather uppers, contrast suede panels, white laces and outsoles, and The Sartorialist logo plastered on the back. The Sartorialist x Sutor Mantellassi launches today, 15th April, exclusively at Harrods, in store and online at harrods.com. Prices start at £385.
