Although the whole sneaker scheme still seems to be heavily dominated by the swoosh and the three-stripes, 2016 is still the year of the sneakers, which also means that there are plenty other options sneakerheads should watch out for. Some of the exceptional designs to look out for might come from Reebook. Recently, they teamed up with rapper Kendrick Lamar to create a deconstructed version of the Classic Leather sneakers.
Teaming up with designer Ian Paley – of Garbstore fame – the duo comes up with a silhouette that acted as an altered version of the Classic Leather. The design features an inverted stitch running from heel to toe, which gives a raw deconstructed appeal to the otherwise clean looking shoes. And for even more twists, only half of the Reebok branding is used on each sneaker, with the left shoes reads Ree and the right reads book.
The shoe is only available in light grey colorways, with blue detailings on the right shoes and red ones in the left shoes. This silhouette will be available for purchase online and at select retailers starting Friday, July 1 for $109.99 USD.
