Nike Sportswear has spent the summer updating the iconic Nike Presto retro with a number of new graphics, the iconic 2000 Sydney Olympics colorway, and woven uppers. Now a new futuristic development is coming into the fold: metal mesh. While the entire model remains relatively intact, the toe box has been entirely retooled to feature a new synthetic toe box with a metallic finish. The technology is reminiscent of the Nike SB x Jordan 1 Retro in its iridescent quality. The shoe will also boast a silver metallic finish on its cage which will balance out the metallic look of the toe box. Rounding out the shoe is a grey sockliner and black heel cage.
The Nike Air Presto “Metal Mesh” is expected to release late this month; check out Nike’s official site for further updates.
