Hop on to The Dior Express

There are clearly a lot going on at Dior’s 2017 cruise show. The venue itself was grand enough taking place on Woodstock's Blenheim Palace one hour North from London. In addition to that, the runway features Bella Hadid, which acts as an impressive moment of reveal because it happens just a few hours after the model was announced as Dior’s new face. Despite all these grandeur, it was the way Dior accommodates the show goers that managed to stole the show.

Prior to the show, guests were treated to a festive evening at The Lady Dior Pub, a one-night-only pop-up bar in London. The day after, the guests were transported from London's Victoria station to Oxfordshire where the palace is located—not with a regular train. Instead, they were spoilt with an extraordinarily Instagram-able train ride on ‘Dior Express’.

The luxurious train indeed deserves all the social media craze. In the train were ornate tables set with dimly-lit lamps on white tablecloths with Dior embroidered napkins. The guests were then treated to a three-course lunch of smoked salmon blinis and capers, followed by volaille farcie aux champignons, and a blackberry and apricot crumble, accompanied by free-flowing Ruinart champagne. So much for merely an hour ride, yet an absolute antidote to the cold England downpour happening on the day of the show.
