This restaurant was built from the idea of a classic greenhouse turned into a multifunctional restaurant where shelves full of books coexist with designer lamps, fireplaces and recesses. Cabaña Marconi or translated to Cabin Marconi is a restaurant in Madrid where you can eat surrounded by windy atmosphere while staring up to the sky or star gazing at night.
Situated in the municipality of Alcobendas, Cabaña Marconi is in an unusual corner of Spain, a place you don’t reach by accident, but only thanks to the recommendation of friends ‘in the know’. To get here you have to go through a stone path surrounded by greenery. Upon arrival you will see a glass house surrounded by a garden with candles. The blue paint of this minimalist green house give this hidden spot a luminous and calm feel. Cabaña Marconi is home to the Swedish roots of the creators, that is Marcos Olazabal, with the interiors designed Sofía Olazábal Janson. They have managed to create a unique chill atmosphere of distant land in the Mediterranean with influences that maintain a cool Nordic feel.
