Alexa Chung is undoubtedly the epitome of a ‘cool girl’ and many people look up to her when it comes to dressing effortlessly chic. So it is not surprising when a lot of fashion brands are tapping her to collaborate. Her long list of collaborations already includes Archive by Alexa for Marks and Spencer, Alexa Chung x Madewell, Alexa Chung for Eyeko and many others. However, considering her expertise and credibility in the fashion industry, it is surprising the style icon hasn’t already released her own brand (especially when every other celebrity had already done it).
The good news is, Chung will finally be releasing her clothing line soon enough. Her ready-to-wear brand will reportedly hit retailers like Selfridges, Ssense, and Matches in May 2017. The collection itself will consist denim, daywear, evening wear, shoes, and jewelry. In this brand, Alexa will serve as a creative director, overseeing other six designers, so we can only expect that the pieces they create will resemble the ‘Alexa Chung’ vibe we all dig so much. Those who’ve been looking up to her in terms of dressing need not look further for Alexa-inspired pieces.
And as for what the brand be called, it’s Alexachung (without space) clearly because she is already a brand by herself.
