They say sixth time is the charm. Well, the term is certainly fitting for Kiko’s sixth collaboration with Opening Ceremony. The singer – actress – model It-Girl has been designing collections for the brand since 2013. With collections ranging from the Pink Ladies to Japanese sukeban to sweet tennis player styles, her designs each has been reflecting an aura of innocence while also conveying a cutesy badass vibe. And this time, she goes more demure and grown-up.
This season, Kiko is filling the collection with spirits of the 60s. She has given the good-girl argyles a chance to rebel with shorter length. The collared long-sleeve top and the ribbed turtleneck are given a cropped silhouette and the mini-skirt gets even shorter. But, if you are not into the mini-skirt division, you can always try the preppy knee-length A-line skirt with front button opening. The collection itself is introduced in basic colors such as white, black, grey and blues alongside the splashes of a fresh color palette, berry and mustard.
