In their own words Bleach Project dubbed themself as, “The wardrobe of modern day Louis the XVI brooding in his downtown LA. Chateau.” They take on this season to a whole new level of darker and sombre collection by exposing the fun with high-spirited and sporty appearance. And that has been Bleach Project's trademark for the past five seasons. This Bali based brand is bringing Romanticism nuance throughout the whole range of flaunting fluid and loose fitting shapes in the collection called Ashes to Ashes for fall winter 2016.
Bleach Project was created in the fall of 2013 as an idea to provide a comfortable menswear that is edgy and sporty at affordable price point emerged. The label started as a small t-shirt brand with few designs that provides for the local market. The brand was initiated by Yasir Bawazier, who had spent 10 years working as a fashion designer that focus mainly on woman’s ready to wear collection with Australian label and based in Sydney. But being born and raised in Indonesia, he finally decided to go back to his home country after moving around Amsterdam, India, Paris, and Mexico. He earned his bachelor degree from prestigious fashion school in Amsterdam, AMFI in 2004 and earned his master's degree in Paris in 2012. This gave him accesses to few internship stints in Paris fashion houses. With these set of skills and experiences as his background, he managed to combine the best of both worlds; the western savvy of fashion trends and tailoring with the craftsmanship of textile industry and affordable garment manufacturing of his home country.
"We like to think that we have grown into more sophisticated yet still posses an edge to it, and this time around it will also appeal into a broader and more mature demographic. Because we use premium and high-grade fabrics that elevate the whole collection from a mid range into a luxury market, such as faux fur, silk lace, double sided neoprene, lux satin fabric as well as our staple jersey for basic styles," said Yasir. The collection in a whole is more minimalistic in shapes and color but still accentuating the details. The range features meticulous use of accessories, such as buttons, zippers as well as exclusive minimalistic placement print giving the Romanticism nuance caried throughout the collection.

One of their successes marketing strategy is a collaborative project with creative individuals, such as models, photographers, artist and bloggers from all over the world to create conceptual editorial images with Bleach Project's garments from their point of view. Currently, Bleach Project have developed into full seasonal collection with stockists all over the world. At the moment, they have stocked in 4 different countries, which include main cities such as Bali, Jakarta, New York, Oslo, Hong Kong and Melbourne.
