PUMA just released their newest sneakers for the upcoming 2016 spring/summer collection, and it is highly sophisticated. An expected result however, knowing that the collaborating party is none other than the notorious British brand Alexander McQueen — a fashion house which is known for its specialty in elaborative designs.
The shoes in this collection are predominantly presented in neutral palette. However, each of the pieces is getting their fair share of avant-garde treatment showed in their advance detailing. The PUMA signature silhouettes like Cell Mid and Lo, Tech Runner and Brace Femme Lo are all getting modification by receiving re-dos on their materials. The materials are then tastefully combined to form a footwear which —while quite simple — is rich in texture. This texture play also seems to be the main feature of the collection, for every piece consisted of at least two clashing materials. Besides, more details like subtle patterns are also infused to further add point of interests in each shoes.
Although rich with futuristic references (quite a signature of PUMA as of late), the shoes are still remarkably wearable, and quite obviously covetable. For those who might be interested to add another member to the shoes collection, this McQ x PUMA 2016 spring/summer collection will be available at select retailers starting February 16, 2016.
